Biographical Sketch:

Yellow River Scholar of the Henan University (2006); Professor (2005) and Tutor of PhD Students (2005); Postdoctoral Research at Department of Applied Physics of City University of Hong Kong, and Technical Institute of Physics and Chemistry Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS) (2003-2005); Ph.D. Student at Institute of Solid State Physics, CAS (2000-2003);There are the projects from the National Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC), the Innovative Talents Foundation of Henan province and the Excellent Youth Foundation of He’nan Scientific Committee, as well as more than 40 SCI papers and 4 PRC Invention Patents in Zhou's research group up to now (2009).

Teaching Courses: Optics, Approaches to Solid State Physics, and Nanostructures & quantum effect (all for postgraduates).
